A Geological Engineer with a specialization in Natural Gas Engineering and a Master's degree in Ecology and Environmental Management, Tectonics and Regional Geology, and a PhD in Environment and Sustainable Development, he has extensive experience evaluating hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation projects in Peru's main basins (Talara, Marañon, and Ucayali). He has conducted research studies on the workover of old wells to increase production in depleted reservoirs; recommended well baling, fracturing, acidizing, and cementing; and estimated potential reserves in various productive reservoirs. He has also conducted deep well evaluations in the Talara Basin to identify areas with hydrocarbon potential. He has participated in geophysical and geochemical campaigns in the jungle. He also has experience drilling wells in northwestern Peru and the jungle. He has also served as a consultant providing advice on oil and natural gas geology and engineering.
